Picture this, it’s 2014. A boy from Darver & a girl from Knockbridge crossed paths many times over their youth - summer camps, birthday parties, football matches...
Teenage years follow and 18th, 21st parties come flooding in...
A few looks had, a number or two exchanged…
A few texts here and there…
One message in particular has always stood out - “Do you fancy a Costa?”
From that first date, we’ve been inseparable.
Like most, we’ve been through ups and downs, graduations, jobs that turned to career paths, losses in the lives , holidays here there and everywhere.
Almost 11 years after that first latte and hot chocolate, marriage is just around the corner.
We cannot wait to share the special moments of getting married with each and every one of you reading this. Of course we need 3 days of celebrating, dancing, reminiscing and making memories together to really start marriage off with love and laughter.

Fattoria degli Usignoli is located approx. 10mins drive from the town of Regello and 25mins from Florence.
The nearest airports are Pisa and Rome, with regular flights to and from both cities operated by Ryanair and Aer Lingus.
There are regular trains from the central station in Florence, Santa Maria Novella, to nearby village Sant'Ellero.
When you have booked your flights, please send the flight details to either Christopher or Emma.

Local Amenities
We fell in love with our venue, nestled in the rolling hills away from the hustle and bustle of fabulous Florence. Located near a small, rural community consisting of a small bar/café and village store, amenities in and around us are limited but everything you need for your stay will be provided.
The hotel itself is renowned locally for its traditional Tuscan cuisine, delicious Italian wine and stunning surroundings. With two swimming pools and sporting amenities on-site, plus walking trails, bicycle hire and horse riding nearby, come prepared with activewear if you fancy some additional activities during your time in Tuscany!
FAQ
What is the weather going to be like?
Typically, temperatures in early May are in the low to mid 20’s, perfect for us Irish. Having visited our venue in May 2024, with our venue nestled in the hills, a slight breeze can make it cooler after the beautiful sunset. Perfect conditions for some outdoor dancing!
What type of ceremony are you hosting?
Held in the venue’s amphitheatre, we are hosting a fun, intimate mid-afternoon celebration of our love, lasting between 30-40 minutes, followed by aperitivo and small Italian bites.
What should I wear?
Think “Italian Summer” but also, bear in mind, we are a stylish couple putting a lot of effort into Our Day and would love you to match that style and energy. On the topic of colours; ladies, please avoid wearing white, off-white or cream.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We have hired professional photographers to capture Our Special Day and they would rather not have to Photoshop your phones out of the pictures - so we ask you to please refrain.
Can I bring a date?
All those invited are named on their invite.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please let us know by the end of October if you can attend Our Big Day by responding here, or contacting either of us directly.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes, there is plenty of parking if you decide to rent a car.
